Scott Warmuth
Scott Warmuth (born July 30, 1955) is an attorney practicing in the city of Los Angeles. Believed to be the youngest politician elected in the State of Washington, Warmuth became a city council member at the age of 18.〔Northshore citizen / Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1973 / Vol. 71 No. 11 Four Sections, 40 Pages Bothell, King County, Wa.〕 He is now the senior partner of The Law Offices of Scott Warmuth, A Professional Corporation.
==Early political career==
On November 6, 1973, Warmuth was elected city council member in Lake Forest Park, Washington and is believed to be the youngest elected politician in the state.〔4A Western Sun Edition, Thursday, Dec. 13 1973 (Judy Van Deen)〕 He registered to run for office on his 18th birthday and ordered 500 brochures as he initiated a door-to-door campaign.〔4A Western Sun Edition, Thursday, Dec. 13 1973 (Judy Van Deen)〕 Warmuth ran uncontested against the incumbent Gordon Skelton and campaigned under the platform of safer school sidewalks and preservation of the city's park-like atmosphere.〔The Seattle Times Sunday, February 24, 1974 pages 38-39 (Vicki Johnson Walton)〕 Warmuth won the election with 340 votes to Gordon's 299 and went on to serve as city council member for two years until 1975.〔The Seattle Times Sunday, February 24, 1974 pages 38-39 (Vicki Johnson Walton)〕
